When deciding on the name for our studio we wanted something that described us, we have two Kelpies of our own and since most pet portraits are of dogs we figured that would describe us pretty well. We also decided to include our dogs as mascots for the studio and that’s the two dogs you see on our logo.

Hi my name is Daniel Arnaldi and with my wife and two dogs we are "The House of Dogs", I do most of the shooting and my wife does most of the animal wrangling (sometimes I wonder if we should swap as she gets to do more interacting with animals than I do). I’ve been a professional photographer for over thirty years and an animal lover all my life. Working with animals has been a great source of fulfilment and satisfaction, combining that with my passion for photography is how I find creative satisfaction as well. My approach to every shoot is to create something that will not only be a precious memory but also a work of art that will enhance any room.

For anyone interested in that sort of thing, here is a little about my photographic exhibition history.
